Why do quotes for the same tree vary so much?
- Because they are quoting different methods. A tree that can be felled in one piece is quick; the same tree over a roof needs sectional cutting and roping, which takes hours longer and carries real risk. Send photos showing what is *below* the tree, not just the tree.

Should I cut back before the rainy season?
- Yes — it is the one gardening job worth booking in advance rather than reacting to. Storms bring down branches that were already dead or overextended, and they land on roofs, cars and lines. Pre-season pruning costs a fraction of roof repair.
