Why does my soakaway keep filling up in Uyo?
- Usually depth. Much of Uyo sits on a high water table, so a soakaway dug to the depth that works in a drier state fills from the ground up as well as from the house. If yours needs emptying more than once a season, the fix is normally a deeper or second pit rather than another evacuation. Ask for the intended depth to be written into the quote as a material line item, so you are not paying twice.
